Last Friday, this year’s 11M Toto result was out. As usual, I didn’t get anything. What to do? Try it again next year!

与财富擦肩 / Rubbing shoulders with a fortune
最近，由于冰岛火山灰的影响，航班纷纷被取消，航空公司的业绩大受影响，股价受到重挫，新航就是其中之一。仅大前天一天就下降了五毛多，闭市报$14.96。我是前天一早看了报纸才知道的，早上想赶快吃进，早上的开盘价是$15.00，可一上网突然发现想不起来我的用户名和密码了，嘻嘻，从来还没交易过嘛，也不奇怪。心想着不着急，等晚上一到家第一时间赶快吃进。哪儿想到晚上到家一看，居然已经涨到$15.24了。一天之间便损失了200多块，真是令人痛断肚肠！本人向来对股票的升降有着强烈的第六感，这次看着史无前例的停飞报道却无动于衷，看来这次的破财是命中注定的啦！
Due to the recent eruption of volcanic ash in Iceland, many flights were cancelled. Airline companies lost out severely and their stock prices fell dramatically. SIA was one of them. I read in Wednesday’s ‘My Paper’ that the day before, SIA’s share price dropped 50 cents+ within a single day. The closing price was S$14.96. I was thinking of buying once I reached the company. The opening price on that day was S$15.00. But after logging into my site, I suddenly realized that I could not even remember my account number or password. Hehe, nothing strange there as I had never tried to activate the account since it was opened. So I was thinking of postponing it after finishing work. I logged in immediately after reaching home. You know what happened? It had already increased to S$15.24. I had lost more than S$200 in one day, all because of the account number and password. I just could not believe it and it was indeed a heartbreaking experience. I have always had a very strong sixth sense for the stock and share market. However, after watching all the volcano related news for several days, I didn’t even link it with the stock and share prices. How strange it is. It looks like I was destined to lose my fortune!
